Brush makers since 1786, we have 225 years of experience, craftsmanship and dedication in developing the most comprehensive range of Vale horse grooming products available today.

In January 2001 we acquired the business of whip manufacturers Edward Goddard Ltd, which was founded in 1887.

The highly skilled work force now form an integral part of Vale Brothers, still producing quality whips by hand. The whip range is again probably the largest in the world with over 1,500 variants available.
